بلدية مدينة ابوظبي
بلدية مدينة ابوظبي هي إحدى الدوائر الحكومية الخدمية التابعة لحكومة ابوظبي وقد تم تأسيسها عام 1962 ثم في عام 1969 صدر مرسوم أميري نص على تعيين أول مجلس لبلدية مدينة ابوظبي ونص المرسوم على بدأ التوسع في مهام دائرة البلدية لتشمل إنشاء الخدمات العامة وبناء الطرق وشبكات الصرف الصحي والإشراف على التخطيط العام لمدينة ابوظبي وغيرها من المهام الأخرى، كما ان بلدية مدينة ابوظبي هي أحد الأعضاء المؤسسين في جمعية الأمانة العامة لبلديات دولة الامارات وعضو فعال ايضاً في منظمة المدن الإسلامية والعربية.
وقد وضعت بلدية مدينة أبوظبي منذ نشأتها جملة من الأهداف الأساسية، أهمها تنفيذ المشاريع الهادفة إلى إرساء بنية تحتية عملاقة شاملة مشاريع الصرف الصحي والجسور شبكة الطرق الحديثة ووسائل المواصلات وترسيخ مشاريع التنمية الشاملة ودعم المسيرة الخضراء بالإضافة للسير قدما نحو أهداف ترمي إلى توسيع دائرة التنمية لتشمل المشاركة في بناء نهضة عمرانية واسعة النطاق.
